After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Comparative Literature, David went on to study film at the San Francisco Art Institute. He then honed his storytelling skills as a feature writer at the San Francisco Chronicle before moving to Los Angeles to become a TV writer-producer-actor. Since then David has written, produced and/or acted in over 200 episodes of broadcast or internet documentary and reality programming for ABC, AMC, Bravo, Comedy Central, Discovery, Fox, GSN, HGTVGardens.com, History, Spike, SyFy, TBS and TLC.
David is also an accomplished songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, and has licensed several of his original compositions to various films, TV series and advertising campaigns.
